14.12.2010 - 11:53 : FLOTSAM AND JETSAM: Ausstieg des Gitarristen
Mark Simpson, der Gitarrist von FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, hat sich nach 13 Jahren von der Band in Freundschaft getrennt. Der Gitarrist ließ folgendes über die Bandwebsite mitteilen:
"...Those guys are my brothers, nothing will ever change that and I will continue to support them always. I'm ridiculously happy "THE COLD" is doing so well in the press and with the fans but I'm just taking this moment to move on and try something new. It's as simple as that. Thanks to everyone that I've had a chance to work with and a huge thank you to all the passionate and loyal fans that I had the honor to meet over the years. Buy THE COLD!!!!!!

Am 15. und 16.01.2011 wird die Band zwei Shows in Mexico City spielen. Gründungsmitglieder Michael Gilbert und Edward Carlson soll diese beiden Konzerte die beiden Sechssaitigen spielen.
FLOTSAM AND JETSAM haben am 14.09.2010 ihr neues Studioalbum "The Cold" über die Plattenfirma Driven Music Group veröffentlicht. Die Scheibe wurde von Ralph Patlan und der Band gemeinsam produziert.

Schlagzeuger Craig Nielsen sagt zur Veröffentlichung der neuen Scheibe folgendes:
"THE COLD is doing far better in the Internatinal press than we expected, our fans profoundly love this record, we have had strong rotation and reaction from Sirius XM radio, sales are respectable and increasing...the band has every reason to stay active. LONG LIVE F&J!!
