Das Jahr 2011 endet noch einmal mit einem wahren Paukenschlag. Die progressiven Thrasher von VEKTOR veröffentlichen nicht nur das "Album des Monats" im Monat Dezember, sondern fahren dabei auch die höchste Durchschnittsnote ein, die es bisher bei POWERMETAL.de je gegeben hat. Doch auch dahinter ist die Qualität sehr hoch. Die Hoffnungsträger STEELWING übertrumpfen ihr sehr gutes Debüt locker, der CANDLEMASS-Ableger KRUX überzeugt auch mit dem dritten Streich und die Prog-Rocker von ARENA liefern gewohnt gute Kost ab. Mit NIGHTWISH und KORN sind auch große Namen am Start, komplett überzeugen können sie aber nicht.
