Wenig überraschend, aber für einen Frischling sicher keine schlechte Einkaufsliste.

Richtig. Aber extrem wenig Überraschungen. Das ist eine Liste des klassischen Prog Rocks der Siebziger und Achtziger mit einer Handvoll Ausreißer. Ich meine, ich bin ja echt Fan, aber 6 x Marillion, 6 x Yes, 6 x Genesis, 7 x Pink Floyd, 5 x King Crimson, 5 x Rush, 3 x Steven Wilson + 4 x Porcupine Tree, 4 x ELP, 4 x Dream Theater, 4 x Opeth, 3 x Van Der Graaf Generator macht 57 Alben von 12 Bands. Das hätte ich auch vorhersagen können. Und RUSH ist es eher noch zu wenig.

Ich habe 34 Stück, wenn ich mich nicht verzählt habe. Die großen Überraschungen fehlen.

Ist das wirklich so dermaßen over the top? Das auch bei heutigen Befragungen immer wieder diese Uralt-70er-Schinken gewinnen finde ich schon komisch.

Wobei diese Alben und Platzierungen dann auch wieder auf eine aktuellere Befragung schließen lassen.
Platz 18 für "Fear Of A Blank Planet" finde ich beachtlich...aber gerechtfertigt. Ich halte das Album auch für eine von Wilsons besten Werken überhaupt.

Steht der Kerl wirklich so hoch in deiner Gunst?
Ich hatte mir immer vorgenommen was von ihm zu holen. Letztes Jahr sein Album. Irgendwie war ich aber nie in der Stimmung für seine Musik.
