Die schwedischen Folk Metaller von FALCONER enthüllen Cover und Tracklist ihres siebten Albums "Armod". Ihr siebtes Studioalbum wird am 3./6. Juni auf Metal Blade Records in Europa veröffentlicht.
Die CD besteht aus elf Songs, welche komplett in Schwedisch gesungen wurden, und vier Bonustracks (die englischen Versionen der vier Lieblingstracks der Band von der neuen Platte).
Diese vier Bonustracks werden nur auf der limitierten Erstauflage im Digipak enthalten sein.
Gitarrist Stefan Weinerhall klärt auf:
"The album is embracing the Swedish folk music to a greater extent than before making it sound slightly more down to earth. The music spans from acoustic songs with cello, flute and fiddle to songs with blast beats and really heavy riffing. As said before this is a 'one-time-only' album and does not define the future sound of FALCONER, but it was about time to pay full notice to the influence that has always made us different. Now we have that out of our system!"
"Armod" wurde erneut in den Sonic Train Studios des KING DIAMOND-Gitarristen Andy La Rocque im Dezember und Januar eingespielt.
