IHSAHN: neues Album am 25.01.2010

Am 25.01.2010 wird IHSAHN sein neues Soloalbum veröffentlichen, das in der ersten Jahreshälfte 2009 aufgenommen wurde. Das offenbar noch unbetitelte Album wird via Candlelight Records/Mnemosyne Productions erscheinen. Aufgenommen wurde das Album im Symphonique Studio von Ishahn und im Toproom Studio.

Neben Ihsahn (ex-EMPEROR) sind auf dem Album Schlagzeuger Asgeir Mickelson (SPIRAL ARCHITECT), Bassist Lars K. Norberg (ebenfalls SPIRAL ARCHITECT) sowie Saxophonist Jorgen Munkeby (SHINING) zu hören.
Der Meister selbst zu seinem neuen Werk:
"This is my first album written with 8-string guitars as basis which has been both challenging and inspiring. I also decided early on that I wanted to mix this album with Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia) and recorded the album with that in mind. Asgeir and Lars have again delivered superb performances. I've always wanted to implement the saxophone in my music; Jorgen’s contributions truly added a silver lining to the album."
