Metal Blade signen VALKYRJA/Re-Release

Metal Blade Records haben die schwedischen Schwarzmetaller VALKYRJA unter Vertrag genommen. Die Formation wurde im Jahr 2004 gegründet. Nach diversen Besetzungswechseln nahm die Formation 2007 ihr Debütalbum "The Invocation Of Demise" in den Necromorbus Studios (Watain, Deströyer 666, Razor Of Occam) auf, das bei Northern Silence Productions erschien. Ende 2008 unterzeichneten VALKYRJA einen weltweiten Plattenvertrag bei Metal Blade Records.
Die Band zum Vertragsschluss: "The band sees the work with these allies as an opportunity to spread their crafts even further and on a larger scale. The Swedes have thus far already marked both studio and live performances with a brutal and aggressive signet, leaving no-one unaware of what the band can deliver. Territories stand not yet ravished by the plague and famine that is VALKYRJA, a fact this collaboration will change - a seal in Blood, Fire and Death.”
Derzeit arbeiten VALKYRJA an neuen Songs für das zweite Album, das voraussichtlich in den Necromorbus Studios aufgenommen werden wird. Das Debütalbum "The Invocation Of Demise" wird im Juni 2009 mit neuem Artwork und Booklet versehen von Metal Blade wiederveröffentlicht werden.
