SIX GALLERY canceln Europa-Tour & stellen neuen Sänger vor

Die Progressive-Post-Rocker SIX GALLERY aus Ohio verschieben aufgrund eines Besetzungswechsels ihre anstehende Europa Tour. Nach Release ihres Albums “Breakthroughs In Modern Art” im März diesen Jahres trennen sich nun die Wege von SIX GALLERY und ihrem bisherigen Sänger Daniel Francis, welcher seit November 2008 den bis dato rein instrumentalen Songs seine Stimme zu verlieh. Der neue Mann am Mikrofon ist seit Freitag letzter Woche Daniels Erbs von den Indie-Rockern AFORTIORI, wie die Band auf ihrer Myspace-Seite bekannt gibt. Aufgrund dessen haben sich SIX GALLERY entschlossen, die anstehende Europa-Tour (16. Mai – 03. Juni) auf unbestimmte Zeit zu verschieben und sich statt dessen vorerst auf die anstehenden Proben mit Daniel Erbs zu konzentrieren. Neue US-Tourdates sollen in Kürze bekannt gegeben werden und an neuen Europadates wird mit hochdruck gearbeitet.
Hier noch das Statement von SIX GALLERY im Wortlaut:
“We are all thankful for the time and effort Dan contributed to the SIX GALLERY, but unfortunately, a change like this needs to happen sometimes. (...) Unfortunately, this change has forced the band to cancel their upcoming tour in the UK and overseas. We are very sorry to our fans, as well as, the promoters and other bands we were going to be working with on this tour. Rehearsals have begun and new Summer US tour dates will be announced very soon. SIX GALLERY is working hard and looking forward to the continuing to develop with Daniel Erb and we can't wait to see everyone across the States in the next few months. We are currently working very hard to make it up to our fans overseas to reschedule this tour. As soon as we know more, so will you! Stay posted for more updates from the band and new tour dates that will be posted soon!”
