Die US-Thrasher MANTIC RITUAL haben in Dave Watson nun einen permanenten Ersatz für Sänger/Gitarristen Dan Wetmore gefunden. Dan verließ MANTIC RITUAL im September 2009.
Die Band gibt nun einen Eindruck über die aktuellen Live-Qualitäten mit Dave Watson an der Gitarre und am Mikro in Form einer Live-Aufnahme des Stücks 'Souls'.
Gitarrist Jeff Potts gibt einen kurzen Ausblick auf neues Material von MANTIC RITUAL:
"...'Souls' has been a standard in our set list and it's really grown on us since we started touring a lot this year. The song originally debuted 3 years ago in a VFW in Monaca, near Pittsburgh in February of 2006. While it was written before Dave [Watson] joined the band, he did mix the first demo of it [when the band was still called MELTDOWN]. We have two new songs in our live set. One is called 'The Faceless God' and the other is 'Descent To Dawn' We also have a new cover song in our arsenal! Showing that we can write and play better than ever is important. Also, we just feel that it's been far too long since we've had some new material in the set. We've all had some ideas lately and we're excited to get back into writing mode."
