Die US-Metal-Band SLAUTER XSTROYES, die sich vor circa eineinhalb Jahren reformiert hat, arbeitet an Songs für ein neues Studioalbum.

Bassist Brent Sullivan hat auf dem Messageboard auf der offiziellen MySpace-Seite der Band auf eine Anfrage hin folgendes verlauten lassen:

"...we are hitting the studio in January 2011 to begin tracking drums. We will probably record new including a bunch of older songs off of Winter Kill/ Free The Beast with the new singer and see how it all turns out. I think it would be cool to hear them freshly recorded. Not to take away from the old classic vibe, just fresh with the new line-up and see how it turns out. We do have 8 new tracks but we are just not sure if all are worthy to be on a new cd after 20 some years. We want to record a lot more before a full release comes out. The new cd must destroy! But, either way, we will have new music very soon available. Probably a mix of re-recorded old material and some new bonus tracks. There will be a full new cd this year though! That is a must, just not by KIT unfortunately. Unless all the new ones all turn out great recorded. Details will be soon."

SLAUTER XSTROYES werden auf dem ausverkauften Keep It True-Festival am 29. und 30.04.2011 in Lauda-Königshofen auftreten. Fans der Band dürfen sich Livemitschnitten zufolge auf eine starke Darbietung freuen. Leider wird die Band beim KIT noch keine neue Veröffentlichung am Start haben.
