Die ehemaligen MARDUK-Mitglieder Legion und B.War haben sich in Kalifornien niedergelassen und dort eine neue Band gegründet.
Hier das dazugehörige Statement:
"We both quit the band regardless of what rumours have been floating around! It was based on years of struggling in a downward spiral of the band, being very dysfunctional, and after the 'Panzer Division Marduk' album [1999], we felt that we had nothing left to say. In addition, the black metal scene did not excite us like it did earlier.
"Anyway, now we are reborn as the REBELANGELS, which is a dark, heavy rock band with big heavy riffing and normal, raw vocals.
"We are currently searching for two guitarists and a drummer to complete the line-up. Please check out our homepage at http://www.rebelangels.org for further information."
