FORBIDDEN: Adapt Or Die

Craig Locicero hat auf der MySpace-Seite der Band angekündigt, dass beim US-Radiosender 1077 the Bone im Rahmen der Radiosendung Nikki Blakk's Metal Zone (21.09 zwischen 22:00 und 01:00 Uhr PST, also bei uns 22.09. zwischen 07:00 und 10:00 Uhr) das weltweite Debüt des Songs 'Adapt Or Die' stattfinden wird. Wer dies verpasst, kann ab dem 24.09. den Song im MySpace-Player finden.
Sein komplettes Statement liest sich wie folgt: "What may seem over due to all of our long time fans, was like a lifetime for us. We just completed the first demonstration of any new Forbidden songs since 1996! Phew...that's quite a sentence for me to type.
Everybody in the band is very excited about the two songs. All of the guys did a terrific job. The "new" dudes, Mark and Steve raised the bar of expectation and really stretched out and challenged themselves. But our real hero is Russ, my god, did he ever sing his ass off! Nobody can deny the results of all of his hard work. Oh yeah, Matt and I did alright too. All in all, we feel that every minute we put in was worth the wait. It gave us the perspective we needed to attain what we heard in our heads. We felt the need to dig deep and deliver the very best material we could for everyone to get a feel for our sound in 2009. Especially under the circumstances of being out of the Metal genre for so long. Rest assured, it sounds like Forbidden!
The songs were Recorded and Mixed by Tim Narducci and assisted by Brad Barth at Sonic Room/Audio Voyage studios in Livermore California. Tim did an amazing job and fully dedicated himself to the project. It's a fantastic situation, because Tim and Brad play with me in SpiralArms! The working/creative relationship has really flourished over the last year. It's truly ideal!
'Adapt or Die' will debut worldwide tomorrow night, Friday the 21st, on www.1077thebone.com on Nikki Blakk's Metal Zone between 10pm and 1am pst. Nikki Blakk is a True Metal supporter and a great DJ! There couldn't be a better place to debut a new Forbidden song then playing it on the Bone, based here in San Francisco, for such a large audience of Metal Heads! Thanks Nikki!
If you can't tune into the Bone Friday night, we'll be posting 'Adapt or Die' this Monday the 24th on our MySpace page!!! We'll let everyone digest that for a few weeks then post 'Hopenosis' up next! Come on, you waited this long, what's another few of weeks??? Hehe....
