Wie die Veranstalter des amerikanischen Prog-Power-Festivals mitteilen, werden Ross The Boss Friedman (Gitarre) und Scott Columbus (Schlagzeug) beim diesjährigen Event am 08.09.2010 gemeinsam einen speziellen early-MANOWAR-Auftritt auf die Bretter legen. Der Info zufolge sei Ross absolut euphorisch hinsichtlich des bevorstehenden Ereignisses
Über seine eigene Twitter-Seite lässt Ross weiter verlauten, dass alle Gerüchte über Scott Columbus nicht wahr seien. Er sei in großartiger Verfassung und bereit, ein paar "echte Drums" zu zerschmettern.
Das alles lässt der MANOWAR-Fangemeinde natürlich viel Raum für wilde Spekulationen, an denen wir uns an dieser Stelle nicht beteiligen wollen. Wir sind jedoch gespannt darauf, wie sich die Sache weiter entwickelt.

Headlining the event will be none other than New York band ROSS THE BOSS.SwordLord Productions is proud to announce a very special event for ProgPower XI. Master guitarist and founding member of Manowar, Ross The Boss along with the legendary Manowar drummer Scott Columbus will take the stage at the Loft on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 for a very special performance of classic Manowar songs along with material off of Ross’ smashing debut “New Metal Leader”. September 8 will be the first day of music in a four day event known as ProgPower USA.
