Für das zweite Studioalbum "Tides Of War" (VÖ: 14.05.2013) widmete sich die deutsche Heavy Metal Band SACRED GATE dem Thema Sparta und der Kampf gegen die Perser. Wenn man bedenkt das zwei Bandmitglieder griechische Wurzeln haben, so ist es vielleicht kein Wunder, dass gerade diese Geschichte besonderes Interesse weckte.
